Northern Ireland is famous for a lot of things. The Giants Causeway, the Titanic, beautiful scenery, great pubs, friendly people. More recently we have become quite famous for big movie and TV productions. Game of Thrones fan? Yes? Its filmed here.

What Northern Ireland is probably less famous for is Artificial Intelligence.

The aim of this site to to make some steps towards fixing that. Why? Because Northern Ireland has a hell of a lot going on when its comes to AI. We have an active community of researchers. A huge number of companies using and developing AI and two excellent universities carrying out international standard research in AI.

This site aims to highlight the activies of the AINI community as well as the activities of the members of the Artificial Intelligence collaborative network. Details on both the community group and the collaborative network can be found on their respective pages.

The blog/ news section of the site aims to bring you the best AI related news from Northern Ireland and the Showcase section aims to highlight some of the best examples of the uses of AI by NI companies.
